A versatile solution for specific needs
Handling needs are often very varied. One solution we can implement is to connect curb clamps in series, creating a single piece of equipment suitable for gripping individual sleepers, concrete objects and bricks. This highly customizable accessory can also effectively handle concrete cable ducts running along tracks. The equipment is powered by hydraulic cylinders coupled with safety valves to prevent load loss in the event of a sudden drop in pressure. The hydraulic circuit is protected by a maximum pressure valve. Scratch-resistant nylon pads and polyurethane rollers ensure a secure grip on the pieces being handled.
Interchangeable with other railway equipment.
A hydraulic rotator can be installed at the center of the sturdy frame connecting the clamps, allowing the operator to pick up and orient the load with great precision relative to the track, allowing it to be placed directly on site. In the most popular configuration, a custom adapter for the rail rotators of road-rail loaders is welded to the center of the beam, making the clamp easily interchangeable with other railway superstructure equipment.

The robustness and reliability of Idrobenne hydraulic equipment stems from the careful selection of materials used in their construction. The structural parts are made of high-tensile Swedish steel, while the components in contact with the materials being handled—such as bucket blades and grapple tines—use wear-resistant steels. The pins are made of special heat-treated steels, and the case-hardened steel bushings feature internal spirals for optimal grease distribution. Assembly takes place entirely at the Brescia production facility, by qualified in-house personnel. The entire production cycle is certified according to ISO 9001, a guarantee of consistent quality and process traceability.
