The hydraulic grabs for lifting railways rails are sturdy and reliable attachments, conceived for the hardest working conditions. The range consists of two models: the PFS 70/R, a compact grapple with two cylinders, and the more powerful PFS 140/R, equipped with 4 cylinders mounted in vertical position. The first one, which is also suitable for truck cranes, has a load capacity of 3.500 Kg., while the second is intended for road-rail excavators s and has a capacity of 5.000 kg. The curvature of the jaws ensures the best performance during loading.

Rail maintenance is a very technically advanced sector of activity, in which only pure professionals may be involved. Idrobenne offers the ultimate tools to these demanding customers, granting strength, reliability and easiness of use.

Custom made adaptors.

Idrobenne may supply all kind of  adapters for different rail-road loaders. Each manufacturer of hydraulic machine for railways maintenance, in fact, has a different model of quick coupling that allows the quick switch from a tool to another.

The hydraulic rotator for railways tools

Railway renewal and construction require the simultaneous use of different tools with the same operating machine: every rail-road excavator must have a grab for sleepers, a loading bucket, a grab for rails, a ballast tamper and a bucket to dig between railway sleepers (BMV-2/200-S). For this reason, the rail-road machines are supplied with  a system that allows the quick exchange of the different attachments. In Italy this goal is achieved through the use of an hydraulic rotator with pin, which remains suspended to the arm, which can quickly engage each grapple. Idrobenne has developed its own, very robust and reliable hydraulic rotator for railway applications, which serves the purpose perfectly.

Construction and testing are carried out by highly qualified and experienced personnel. The design of the equipment is always "user friendly", to grant simple access during maintenance.  All wear parts are easy to reach and quickly replaceable.

High quality components.

All products are built using high-tensile Swedish steel for the structural parts and use wear plates (Hardox) for parts in contact with the handled materials, such as the blades of the buckets, the tines and the tips. The large diameter pins are made of special steel, hardened under heat treatment. The bushes are provided of an internal spiral for the distribution of grease. The entire production cycle is certified according to ISO 9001 standards.
