Orange peel grab with vertical cylinders for metal scrap, urban waste and loose material handling.
Traditional design and reliability.
The sturdy and traditional design of PFV line orange peel grapples grants a very high gripping force, due to the vertical cylinders and the favourable geometry of the structure. The maintenance operations are very easy. The substitution the hoses and cylinders takes just a few minutes.
Versatility
Orange peel grapples are multi-tines gripping devices. Each tine is set in motion by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder. For that the jaws, or teeth, have a synchronized, but independent, movement of opening and closing. The number of tines vary from four to six. This feature makes polyp grapples particularly suitable for the collection and handling of large quantities of bulk materials such as metal scrap, paper, tires drive, solid urban waste and firewood. They can be mounted on truck cranes, mini excavators, stationary cranes, hydraulic excavators and wheeled loaders.
Different rotator options
The attachments for crane and excavator can be equipped with a rotation device, either mechanical (free, 250° rotation) or hydraulic (hydraulic motor with continuous rotation). Depending on the type of equipment, the rotator may be incorporated in the main frame of the equipment or mounted on the top of it. Idrobenne offers a wide range of high quality hydraulic rotators.
Experience in construction and reliability.
More than thirty years experience in the industry, the most modern technical design programs and a careful assembly make Idrobenne’s hydraulic equipment a reliable and safe product. Construction and testing are carried out by highly qualified and experienced personnel. The design of the equipment is always "user friendly", to grant simple access during maintenance. All wear parts are easy to reach and quickly replaceable.
High quality components.
All products are built using high-tensile Swedish steel for the structural parts and use wear plates (Hardox) for parts in contact with the handled materials, such as the blades of the buckets, the tines and the tips. The large diameter pins are made of special steel, hardened under heat treatment. The bushes are provided of an internal spiral for the distribution of grease. The entire production cycle is certified according to ISO 9001 standards.
Custom links.
Orange peel grapples, clamshell buckets, log grapples and similar attachments must be mounted on operating machines through a cardan link. This part allows free swinging in the four horizontal directions (so-called pendulum mounting). Idrobenne can manufacture and supply custom-made links for any operating machine such as truck cranes, excavators, material handlers and earth moving equipment.
