Idrobenne gear motors provide precision positioning of devices attached to truck loading cranes and excavators. These motors are the standard slewing gears for all ancillary equipment – whether these are orange peel grabs or polyp grabs, clamshell buckets, log grapples, etc. They’re available in more than 30 versions to suit a very large range of applications.
State of the art design.
The design-dependent braking effect when releasing pressure provides precise control. Proven gear motor drives provide constant, high torque and stable, low rpm even at high oil temperatures. A strong shaft and two tapered roller bearings absorb the axial and transverse loads produced in the most severe loading conditions. Powerful torque and stable rpm’s adapted to the application are the main characteristics of the carefully designed drive, based on the Gerotor principle.
Continuous rotation.
The unlimited turning angle and controlled pressure relief valves ensure that Idrobenne gear motors harmonise to the torque and braking moments demanded by the load.
Rotator’s connection with the tool.
Idrobenne’s skilled personnel takes care of mounting the hydraulic rotators on every attachment. This let the manufacturer to certify that the whole equipment is properly made.
Manufacturing quality.
Experienced designers, carefully selected materials, modern production plants and permanent quality monitoring, all guarantee durable, problem-free operation. Each hydraulic rotator has a double conic thrust bearing system. GRI hydraulic rotators result from many years’ experience in the development and production of reliable grab torque rotators.
Ready on stock.
The 13 most common models of hydraulic rotators and the hydraulic joint are always kept ready on stock, in order to give a prompt answer to urgent enquiries. This is a part of Idrobenne’s commercial support and after sales service. Apart from the ready on stock, more common models, IDROBENNE can offer a broad choice of special rotators, like units with 4 oil passages for chain saw or equipment with multiple functions.
Installation.
Hydraulic rotators and joints are generally mounted on operating machines through a cardan link that allows “pendulum” movement in the four horizontal directions. Sometimes a rigid mounting is also possible. IDROBENNE can supply custom-made cardan suspension links, adapters for rigid mounting and bolt-on adapters for quick couplers for any operating machine.
